Understory
Landscape architecture studio
Delivered through Framer, remixed straight into your account.

Understory is a Framer template for landscape architects, ecological restoration designers, and climate-resilience studios, the practices shaping shorelines, watersheds, parks, and public space. It is built to show the work the way it actually happens, over seasons rather than screens.
The template makes room for what a landscape practice competes on: real project narratives, evidence that the landscape performs over time, a team with faces and bios, and a clear path to start a project. The aesthetic is calm and editorial, so a small studio reads as established without flattening what makes it particular.
It is a 10-page site, six content pages, a custom 404, and three dynamic CMS templates, on eight CMS collections pre-filled with realistic content. There are 32 components and a complete design system with 11 color styles and 23 text styles. The home page opens on a seasonal scroll hero; Project Detail carries a phase timeline, a before-and-after slider, a change-over-time view, and a full gallery; About holds the studio story, a services accordion, process, and awards; Team is a staff grid with slide-over bios; and Contact pairs an enquiry form with a studio map on an interactive globe, an FAQ, and open positions.
Make it yours in an afternoon: swap the content and images, set the contact form's notification email, and publish. Every custom component is controlled from Framer's properties panel with no code editing, and the studio map needs no API key, type an address or connect the CMS and the pin places itself. A step-by-step setup guide is included. If you want the public site and the practice's client-facing tools built as one system, that is the custom work we do at Omni2, and Understory is a good first conversation.
