Loupe adds a cursor-following magnifying lens to any image or video, so fine detail becomes readable on hover, diagrams, floor plans, site plans, renderings, maps, product shots, and fly-throughs. The control is unusually deep for a component this small: three lens styles, Circle, Square, or a wide Sheet Reveal bar made for floor and site plans, zoom from 1.1x to 4x, and a hi-res swap that serves a light thumbnail and loads a sharp version only on hover, so pages stay fast and the zoom stays crisp. Video gets the same treatment, a light clip in the frame and a high-quality version inside the lens, lazy-loaded, with a poster fallback. Focal point, image radius, frame border and drop shadow, and the lens styling are all adjustable, and it is accessible and touch-friendly, with alt text and a graceful touch hint.
